นาฬิกาโอเรียนท์สตาร์ (Orient Star) ได้เผยโฉมนาฬิการุ่นใหม่ในซีรีย์ Mechanical Moon Phase อีกครั้งในรหัส RE-AY0121A โมเดลใหม่นี้ผลิตจำนวนจำกัดเพียง 180 เรือนเท่านั้นโดยใช้ธีมเดียวกันกับรุ่น RE-AY0116A ที่ยังคงถ่ายทอดความงดงามของทะเลสาบทาซาวะในยามค่ำคืนของช่วงเวลาที่ฤดูหนาวใกล้เข้ามา หน้าปัดสีน้ำตาลซึ่งสร้างขึ้นจากการผสมผสานระหว่างเปลือกหอยมุกและการไล่สีที่เข้มขึ้นไปตามขอบรอบนอกชวนให้นึกถึงพื้นผิวของทะเลสาบในเวลากลางคืนในขณะที่ดวงจันทร์สีเงินบนแถบข้างขึ้นข้างแรมสื่อถึงดวงจันทร์ที่ลอยอยู่หลังก้อนเมฆ

The M45 F7 Mechanical Moon Phase is a refined version of Orient Star’s most symbolic flagship model, featuring an in-house movement with a 50-hour power reserve. This new model, limited to 180 pieces, features a stunning brown dial, created by combining mother-of-pearl and gradation that blackens towards the circumference, evokes the surface of the lake at night, while the silvery moon represents the moon floating behind the clouds. An exchangeable metal bracelet is included with a butterfly deployant buckle with pushbuttons and half-length links to fine tune the size for optimum comfort. Part of the M45 Collection, which is named after M45 Pleiades, this constellation has long been used to mark the time and seasons.
The constellation was mentioned in ‘The Pillow Book’, a collection of essays written during the mid-Heian period, more than 1,000 years ago. The M45 Collection features designs with similar classic Orient Star design language such as extended lugs, Roman numeral indices and leaf-shaped hands. This makes the Collection an ideal accent piece for formal occasions.
