Orient Star “Contemporary Date”  มาพร้อมหน้าปัดสีใหม่ที่แตกต่างจากรุ่นก่อนๆ ด้วยการใช้โทนสีที่ให้สัมผัสที่ดูนุ่มนวลของสีเอิร์ธโทน นำเสนอทั้งหมด 4 สี ได้แก่ สีเขียวที่เป็นตัวแทนของใบไม้ที่อยู่บนต้นไม้ (Leaf)  สีคอปเปอร์ที่สื่อถึงทรายในทะเลทราย (Sand) สีฟ้าอ่อนที่ชวนให้นึกถึงน้ำใสราวกับคริสตัล (Water) และสีเทาที่แสดงถึงอัตลักษณ์ของหิน (Rock) ความมีสไตล์ที่ลงตัวของนาฬิการุ่นนี้สร้างขึ้นจากการใช้สีสันของสีที่มีความอิ่มตัวน้อยลง (Desaturation) และเฉดสีเหล่านี้ทำให้นาฬิการุ่นนี้มีเสน่ห์เพิ่มขึ้นอีกขั้น
